Thin-Film Ceramic, Powder Coat, PVD & DLC
Offering top-notch ceramic coating services, powder coating and a wide range of advanced manufacturing finishes, MASIC Industries sets the standard for quality and precision in the industry.
Our clientele include worldwide leaders in aerospace technology, advanced tactical gear and precision tools.
CERAMIC COATING APPLICATIONS
Thin Film liquid ceramic coatings offer performance enhancing qualities at a very thin surface thickness, often as low as .001 inches.
Corrosion protection, chemical resistance along with flexibility features make thin film ceramics a preferred coating in sporting good equipment, aerospace and industrial applications.Thermal barrier versions available for exhaust coatings and ultra-violet (UV) stable versions are available for automotive, marine and architectural applications.

Substrate Materials Include:
• Aluminum
• Steel
• Die Castings
• Sintered Metal
• Composites
• Plastics & More
Detailed Masking & Surface Prep
Using precision masking techniques, all MASIC finishes follow a rigid process to ensure accurate coatings, with special process testing to ASTM Guidelines.

All surface contaminants must be removed.
The part must be prepped for proper adherence of finish.
Abrasive dust or chemical elements can contaminate a finish, so detailed surface prep is the basis of professional finish.
Sand Blasting Process
A Proven Preparation Technique
An abrasive coating preparation technique applied manually or by one of our automated blast machines. Certain parts are ideal for automation, while others are more efficiently prepared manually.

Our abrasive surface processes are complemented by advanced digital tools, enabling precise and efficient surface preparation for industrial coatings. Sand Blasting ensures optimal adhesion and longevity for the finished product.

Primarily Used on Metal Surface Prep.
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC)
Both PVD & DLC processes are performed in a vacuum chamber. The Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process takes a solid metal, vaporizes it in a vacuum, and deposits that vapor, atom-by-atom, onto the surface of a part. This process forms a thin, bonded metal layer that improves the apperance, durability, and/or function of a part/product.

Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC) is a carbon-based thin film that can provide extreme hardness, reduced friction and a unioque appearance. Typical DLC applications include tooling components, engine parts, razors, watches and medical devices.

Primarily Used on Steel and Stainless Steel Finishes
F.O.D. Control (Foreign Object & Debris Control)

MASIC utilizes F.O.D. practices to ensure professional finishes without contaminants.
Powder Coating
Powder coating produces durable and consistent finishes that is especially useful for outdoor and commercial products. Undergoes special process testing to ASTM Guidelines.

Used in commercial light fixtures to high-tech electrical housings and construction hardware.
