THIN FILM
CERAMIC COATING
Our advanced thin film ceramic coating applications provide unmatched protection for a wide range of products, from automotive parts to industrial machinery. A Robotic Paint Cell by iA Robotics is a mainstay of MASIC, along with 6 manual coating application stations.
Adhering to ferrous, non-ferrous metals, die-castings, stampings, composites, and plastics, ceramic coatings have the ability to provide matching finishes across multiple substrates.
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) & Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC)
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a process which a material transitions from a condensed phase to a vapor phase and then back to a thin film condensed phase.
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon Coating) coatings are an example of a thin-film coating deposited using a PE-CVD (Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) Process.
Powder Coating
Unlike standard liquid paints, powder coating is applied as a free-flowing dry powder. After the cure process, Powder coats are highly-durable which makes it a popular finishing method, especially for parts that will be exposed to the elements.
