[Masic Industries]

About

Our business was started in a garage shortly after the end of the second world war, and metal polishing was the only service offered. In the late 1950′s our family purchased an existing plating shop that enabled us to provide plated finishes such as copper, nickel and chrome. As a small job shop, we were able to supply production based accounts for various local customers. At the same time, we were also building a reputation as a leader in custom plated parts for boats, motorcycles and cars. The 1980′s were all about bumpers, car bumpers. Before all of the cars made the switch to plastic, steel and aluminum graced the front and rear of all the cars on the road. Our shop grew to be one of the largest bumper repair shops in the Northwest, serving body shops all over the states of Washington and Oregon.

With the turn of the century, the third generation of our family was put in charge of the daily operations. Understanding the ever changing environmental laws and the parameters that would have to be met in order to continue to do business in our industry, we aggressively made changes to our operation in order to be a leader in waste prevention and environmental consciousness. In 2005 we officially changed our name to MASIC Industries. With the addition of many new metal finishing processes , and the possibility of future products to be offered in the market place, we felt bound by our old name as “just a plating” shop.
